Trainings & workshops

During my career at Flanders DC, I coached small companies as well as large SMEs in their sustainability strategy. I set up workshops and training sessions of all kinds. (In English, Kempisch but no hablo Espanol).
Hands-on sessions on anything related to sustainable fashion:
– inspiration
– information
– cocreation

Related (but not limited to) sustainability and…
– material choices
– buying/production/processes & workflows
– change management
– marketing/communication
– retail
– involving your customers
– end of life solutions
– innovation

“The only time I set the bar low is for limbo.”

One size never fits all. One size fits one.

You tell me what you need, what challenges you are facing and we’ll find the best format together.

Training sessions & workshops can vary from 1 hour to a series of half day sessions.

I’ve hosted sofa sessions with 10 people, webinars with 100 attendees and I even addressed a room of 800 people (you can relive this exciting moment right here). I’m also a guest lecturer at the University of Antwerp, Antwerp Management School and Karel de Grote University College a.o..
Inspirational and educational talks that help you walk the talk.
Online, on stage or inhouse, up to you.

Sustainability management & project management

Via the Close The Loop programme (Flanders DC) I helped dozens of small and larger companies setting things straight. As a Sustainability Manager for Belgian fashion brand Xandres, I had the pleasure to define a plan ‘for the future’ together with the sustainability team .
Helping you out in determining or refining your sustainability strategy (creating a vision and setting targets) and/or in adapting your processes accordingly.
There are basically three levels of support:
– strategy
– operations
– marketing/communications

Longterm assistance to get you started with a good foundation OR temporary well-defined sustainability projects to manage.

Have you done this before?
Sure. Not only in my most recents efforts, but I actually started out my career in a large advertising agency. Learning the marketing mania from the big guys.

There’s no need to communicate everything, but you have to communicate the right thing. We’ll look at:
– who your stakeholders are
– what kind of communication they expect from you
– how you can reach them
We’ll integrate this in your day-to-day communication flow.

Depending on your target audience and the message that needs to get across. From sustainability reports to communication for the launch of your sustainable product: you name it, we’ve got it.

Is that all folks?

Of course it’s not. I do not limit myself to a list of services and ‘have dones’. Because a wise young lady (going by the name of P. Langkous) once said: “I have never tried that before, so I should be able to do it.” I’m currently working on a children’s book on sustainable fashion and writing as a guest editor for Fashion United.

As long as ‘fashion & sustainability’ are involved, I’m (most likely) willing to take on the challenge!
