Fashion Talks is the most relevant conference about the fashion industry and how it really works and evolves. It gives you a view behind the scenes of one of the most inspiring industries. This biannual conference (hosted by Flanders DC) welcomes about 800 fashion professionals in Antwerp every 2 years. In 2019 they invited Jasmien on the main stage for a keynote speech<\/span><\/a>, for the 2023 edition Ann hosted an interview with Lena-Sophie R\u00f6per, Design Director of Zalando.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The shift in consumer expectations<\/b><\/p>

In this interview, Ann discusses the changes of expectations and demands of the online customers today.\u00a0 We see a shift from a focus on transaction – making it fast, easy and thrust worthy – to engagement – creating value and experiences towards the e-commerce users.\u00a0 This shift is translated strategically to a clear focus on elaborating the designer offering.\u00a0 Of course Ann was also highlighting the technological projects Zalando is piloting, such as the Virtual fitting room with personalised avatars and the Fashion Assistant, a chatbot powered by Chat GPT.\u00a0 Lena-Sophie told the audience of Fashion Talks more on Stories by Zalando, a curated inspirational content section they develop in close collaboration with their Highsnobiety team.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
